Compass Plate goes furthest in the editorial direction: it stops trying to be a globe and becomes a printed travel almanac. Concentric brass rings with engraved N · E · S · W replace the literal map. Mood chips become an "index of moods" — italic phrases right-aligned with mono section codes ("FOR YOU", "WEEKEND", "BUDGET"), separated by dotted brass rules. The destination detail page is a bordered card with corner ornaments and a brass diamond rule. Most distinctive of the four. Riskiest because it commits hard to a vintage-print register that some users may read as "old" rather than "premium." But it's the candidate most other apps cannot copy.

Why Compass Plate works.
It's the only candidate that nobody else can imitate easily. The rest are riffs on a glass-and-photo pattern that's becoming common; this one stakes out a register.
Risk
Roman numerals (iii of iv, ii selected) and "MMXXVI" might read as twee or "old" instead of "premium." We can pull those back to Arabic numerals and keep just the brass-rule treatment if the register feels too costumed.
Opportunity
The brass framing carries through everything — destination cards, boarding passes for trip booking, share images on social. It becomes a recognizable brand surface, not just a screen treatment.
Production note
Compass plate is a single SVG asset. Corner ornaments are 28×28 SVG paths. No images required. The vintage register is achieved entirely through tighter borders, brass strokes, and italic-heavy type — which keeps native rendering cheap.
